The position is that Kerry Bog Ponies will not be included in the calculations for restocking of commonages. The National Parks and Wild Life Service have undertaken a comprehensive evaluation of commonages and established a minimum and maximum ewe equivalent figure for each LPIS parcel within a commonage. The ewe equivalents are restricted to suitable ovine and bovine breeds.
