To ask the Minister for Social Protection the number of Irish nationals that have been refused a social welfare payment on habitual residence condition grounds in 2009, 2010, 2011 and to date in 2012; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [48174/12]

The numbers of applications by Irish nationals that have been disallowed welfare payments based on the failure to satisfy the habitual residence condition in 2009, 2010, 2011 and to date in 2012 are set out in the tabular statement.
