The numbers of applications by Irish nationals that have been disallowed welfare payments based on the failure to satisfy the habitual residence condition in 2009, 2010, 2011 and to date in 2012 are set out in the tabular statement.

*Note: Some cases were not recorded in 2011, due to industrial action.
