The information requested by the Deputy in relation to expenditure and county of residence is not collated by my Department. I am however, informed that at the end of September 2012, there were 295,526 people in receipt of Jobseekers Allowance. 59,854 of these were aged between 18 and 24 years. I attach a table detailing the breakdown of this number by age for the Deputy’s information.
