To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government if he will announce measures to address the current crisis facing farmers who are unable to land spread slurry due to poor ground conditions, in view of the fact that the present final date for land spreading is 31 October; if he will consider extending this date as an exceptional measure; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
