Tobacco Control Measures

To ask the Minister for Health the number of retailers registered with the National Tobacco Control Office to sell tobacco products as they are obliged to do under the Public Health (Tobacco) Acts 2002 and 2004; the number registered in each year since 2005 to 2012; the number of these retailers who do so at street markets, fairs or door to door; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As this is a service matter, it has been referred to the HSE for attention and direct reply to the Deputy.

To ask the Minister for Health the measures taken by the National Tobacco Control Office to ensure that tobacco retailers at markets and fairs are registered with the Office under the Public Health (Tobacco) Acts 2002 and 2004; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [46289/12]
