It is understood the Deputy is referring to an application submitted to my Department by Marine Harvest Ireland for an aquaculture licence in respect of a proposed salmon farm at Shot Head in Bantry Bay. The application is under consideration by my Department in accordance with the provisions of the 1997 Fisheries (Amendment) Act and all relevant EU legislation.
