To ask the Minister for Justice and Equality his plans to improve the residential property price register by the inclusion of readily available information such as whether or not the property is a house or an apartment, the number of bedrooms, the square footage, the site area and the local authority area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The information contained in the Residential Property Price Register is compiled from information supplied to the Revenue Commissioners for Stamp Duty purposes. Information supplied to the Revenue Commissioners does not include the floor area, the number of rooms, the site area or the local authority area in which the property is located. Neither is there a distinction made between houses and apartments.
