To ask the Minister for Finance the total profits of foreign subsidiaries of companies registered here; if Revenue will state the amount of extra taxation that would accrue as a result of the implementation of controlled foreign company regulations that would designate subsidiaries of Irish registered companies in other countries as taxable here. I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that it is not possible to separately identify from their records either the foreign subsidiaries of companies registered here or the profits of such subsidiaries. Accordingly, it is not possible to provide the information requested by the Deputy.
