To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government if the funding for works at a location (details supplied) in County Wicklow has been specifically targeted for a particular type of work; or if it is at the council's discretion to use the funds for whatever works it deems necessary to the housing in this area. I refer to the reply to Questions Nos. 365 and 366 of 2 October, 2012.

It is a matter for the local authority to determine the exact nature and extent of the works to be carried out on the houses in the Oldcourt Estate under the remediation programme being funded out of internal capital receipts.
