To ask the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if he will outline in tabular format the annual salary costs for private and constituency offices of Ministers in his Department in each of the years 2009 and 2010; the same figures for any Ministers of State in his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The details requested by the Deputy in respect of the annual salary costs relating to my own private and constituency offices, and those of Minister of State Dinny McGinley, T.D., are set out in the table below. The Deputy will note that the details provided relate to the period since my appointment as Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht and the appointment of Minister of State Dinny McGinley in March 2011. As the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht was established on 2 June 2011, there are no comparative figures available for 2009 and 2010.
