To ask the Minister for Health if he will give details of the savings made through the employment of agency staff, both nursing and clerical, as against their Health Service Executive directly employed co-workers, in each of the years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011; if he will advise of any changes in terms of employment or levels of remuneration that were introduced specific to the recruitment agencies and when said changes came into effect; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As this is a service matter, it has been referred to the HSE for attention and direct reply to the Deputy.
