To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government the number of developers being refused planning permissions under Section 35 of the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended by the Planning and Development Act 2010, which provides for the refusal of planning permission by a local authority where the authority is satisfied that a person is not in compliance with a previous permission; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department collates and publishes a wide range of housing and planning statistics that inform the preparation and evaluation of policy, and those data are available on my Department’s website . Data on the number of refusals made under section 35 of the Planning and Development (Amendment) Act 2010 are not included within that range.
