Question 740: To ask the Minister for Health the scheme for subsidy for travel expenses for hospital appointments processed by the Ambulance Service in Ballyshannon, County Donegal; the year this scheme was initiated; the number of patients who availed of the scheme each year; the arrangements that have been put in place to assist patients who availed of this scheme since it was cut; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Question 764: To ask the Minister for Health if he will provide in tabular form, of the amount of funding allocated to the Ballyshannon Ambulance Service, County Donegal, in 2009, 2010, 2011 and to date in 2012 for the purposes of patient transport for medical treatment in a hospital other than their local hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
