Following the HIQA report on Tallaght Hospital, the Chief Executive Officer of the HSE directed its Internal Audit Office to undertake a review of remuneration paid to senior managers in HSE-funded Section 38 Agencies, to establish the nature and extent of any top-up amounts being paid.

This exercise is being carried out at present and it is anticipated that it will be completed within approximately three months. A report on this matter, when complete, will be made to the Board of the HSE and details will be released as soon as possible thereafter.
