Question 135: To ask the Minister for Social Protection if she will confirm that no domiciliary care allowance in payment will be stopped prior to the conclusion of the urgent review of the scheme which she announced last May [33918/12]

The review of the operation of the domiciliary care allowance (DCA) will commence with the initial meeting of the steering group on the 12th July 2012. The group is due to report by year end.

I can confirm that no further reviews of medical eligibility will be undertaken on the DCA scheme until the current review of the scheme has been completed.
