Question 186: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government in respect of 2011 the best estimate for 2012 of the number of persons in local authorities, the following salary ranges: less than €40,000, between €40,001 to €50,000, between €50,001 to €60,000, between €60,001 to €70,000, between €70,001 to €80,000, between €80,001 to €90,000, between €90,001 to €100,000 and more than €100,001; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The numbers of persons employed in local authorities in 2011 (as at 30 June 2011) on a whole time equivalent basis (WTE) is set out in the table.
