Question 201: To ask the Minister for Health if financial assistance is available to a person who is providing transport on a daily basis to an adult family member to a day care service for people with disabilities; if there is, who is the provider of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am not aware of any financial assistance available in the circumstances described by the Deputy. However, the Deputy should provide details of the case to the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Health Service Executive (HSE) at reps@hse.ie who will examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
