Question 714: To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if the Dublin Airport Authority has put restrictions in place preventing taxi drivers from picking up fares from the older Terminal One building during the night and in the early morning; if so, whether the DAA consulted with taxi drivers and or their representative organisations before the restrictions were put in place; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have no statutory function in relation to this issue. It is a matter for the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA). Accordingly, I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the DAA and have asked them to reply to the Deputy . Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
