Question 94: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the number of housing associations and voluntary bodies that have been approved by the Housing Finance Agency to apply for loans to construct or purchase additional social housing units; the number of additional social housing units currently in any planning stage through this stream of finance; the steps he is taking to assist the large number of housing associations which have not yet been approved to raise loans by the Housing Finance Agency to become approved for this source of financing; his views on whether sufficient progress is being made in the delivery of social housing units through this model of financing; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
