Question 80: To ask the Minister for Social Protection the basis on which it was concluded that a person (details supplied) in County Kildare who has one dependent child and was up to recently in receipt of part one parent family allowance, is now on a three day week but apparently does not qualify for any one parent family allowance; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The one-parent family claim of the person concerned has been suspended as her means have been deemed to be in excess of the statutory limit for the scheme. A review of this case is being undertaken. The person concerned will be informed of the outcome once the review is completed.
