Question 191: To ask the Minister for Finance if he will indicate in tabular form the total number of businesses and the total number of employees who have participated in the Revenue job assist scheme in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Sections 472A and 88A of the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997 provide tax incentives for both employers and employees, to help the long-term unemployed to return to employment. The relevant information available is in relation to the numbers of employees and employers who availed of the Revenue Job Assist scheme for the income tax years 2008 to 2011 inclusive, the latest year for which the necessary detailed information is available. The information requested is set out in the following table (to the extent that it is available):
