I can confirm to the Deputy that each Special Advisor was placed on the first point of the Civil Service Principal Officer standard scale in accordance with Department of Finance and Department of Public Expenditure and Reform instructions on Ministerial appointments. No requests were made in respect of an increase over and above this point.
