Question 254: To ask the Minister for Education and Skills further to Parliamentary Question No. 17 of 23 February 2012, regarding the position of teachers seeking contracts of indefinite duration, in which he indicated that figures relating to CIDs for teachers being paid by his Department were being collated and forwarded, if he will furnish any further information in view of the fact that this information was not subsequently received. The number of teachers who hold Contracts of Indefinite Duration (CIDs) with their employers and are paid by the Department as of June 2012 are as follows: No. of Primary CIDs: 115 No. of Post-primary CIDs: 3248.
