The level of detail requested by the Deputy on claims made by school workers is not available. Claims made by school workers for jobseeker payments are processed on a case by case basis throughout the Department's network of offices. In the majority of cases a form UP2C /D is automatically generated from computer records. During the 2011/12 academic year some 4,000 customers were automatically issued with forms.

In the case of some 450 school wardens employed by Dublin City Council, Fingal County Council, Dublin South County Council and Dun Laoghaire & Rathdown County Council , the required details are provided directly to the Department on computer file.

In the balance of cases, for which there are no statistics available, a form UP2C/D is manually issued. to the customer.
