Question 435: To ask the Minister for Social Protection the position regarding a carer's allowance application in respect of a person (details supplied) County Cork; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [27426/12]

I confirm that the department is in receipt of an application for carer's allowance from the person in question. On completion of the necessary investigations relating to all aspects of the case a decision will be made and the person concerned will be notified directly of the outcome.

I confirm that the department is in receipt of an application for carer's allowance from the person in question. The medical evidence that you submitted in support of the medical aspect of his application was forwarded to the medical assessor for further consideration.
On completion of the necessary investigations relating to all aspects of his case a decision will be made and the person concerned will be notified directly of the outcome.
