Question 560: To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if and when single farm payment will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; the procedure for 2012 applications in view of the fact that they are awaiting probate; to whom the herd number was or is properly allocated for example the executor or otherwise; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The person named became the registered owner of the herd-number as of 31 August 2011. The Inheritance Enquiry Unit of my Department wrote to the person named on 6 March 2012 outlining procedures for the transfer of agriculture schemes in which the previous owner of the herd-number was involved. Legal documents required to release outstanding payment to the estate of the deceased person were also outlined. In addition, a letter issued from the Transfer of Entitlements section to the person named advising him to submit a transfer of entitlements application under the 2012 Single Payment Scheme.
The person named should continue to communicate with the Inheritance Enquiry Unit so as to progress all outstanding issues. Contact details are as follows:
