Question 79: To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if he will allocate funding for a Garda station (details supplied) in Dublin 5 for wheelchair users to enter the front public office of the station during the programme to improve accessibility in the Dublin Metropolitan Region division; and if he will make a statement on the matter. To date the OPW has not received a request to address these matters at the Station but should one be presented, it will be progressed by this Office.

It should be noted that with specific regard to Garda Stations, the decision on the prioritising of all refurbishment works, including access issues, is a matter for An Garda Síochána who will in turn agree a programme with the Office of Public Works, subject to available funding.
