Question 461: To ask the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the number of public servants who have retired from his Department, under the early retirement scheme or otherwise, and who are now back on his Department's payroll; if these retirees have been re employed on a full time, part time or contract basis; the position they hold; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 460 and 461 together.

As the Deputies will be aware, my Department was established on 2 June 2011. I am advised that since that date no re-employment of retirees has taken place in my Department, along the lines referred to by the Deputies.
