Question 87: To ask the Taoiseach the number of staff employed in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions; the number of these employees in receipt of salaries €200,000, and over €150,000 and over €100,000, and their job titles. [14906/12]

The number of staff employed in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is 200. When worksharing patterns and staff on unpaid leave are taken into account this equates to 192.10 whole time equivalent staff.
No employees of the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions are in receipt of salaries of €200,000 or higher. Two individuals are in receipt of salaries of over €150,000 but less than €200,000 and 21 employees are in receipt of salaries of more than €100,000 but less than €150,000. The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions complies with Civil Service regulations with regard to travel and subsistence and expenses. The types of expenses which staff may recoup when travelling are mileage costs if driving or bus, train or taxi costs if not driving.
