Question 33: To ask the Minister for Health when the Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, County Louth, received notice from an orthopaedic paediatrician (details supplied) of their intention to resign on 17 December 2011; the reason the position was not advertised as soon as such notice was received; when authorisation to advertise the position will issue; if candidates have come forward for the position; the number of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
