Question 136: To ask the Minister for Social Protection if interest is added to statutory redundancy payments to claimants arising from the length of time they are waiting for their claim to be processed; and, if so, the amount of interest paid to claimants for each of the past four years. There is no legislative basis for adding interest to statutory redundancy payments and no interest is paid.
