The information requested by the Deputy relates to in excess of 1,500 staff and is not routinely collated by my Department. However, the number of staff in specific pay cohorts is supplied by the agencies on a quarterly basis. The most recent data provided by the agencies relates to 31/12/2011 and is set out in the following table:
