Question 146: To ask the Minister for Health if he has commissioned a report into an outbreak of [i]Clostridium difficile[/i] in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, County Louth, in 2010; if that report has been completed; if the report has been forwarded to him; the outcome and findings of that report; if any patient deaths were related or linked to the outbreak; if so, the number of same; if the report will be made public; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The HSE commissioned a report into the outbreak of Clostridium difficile in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. This report is not yet complete. I have no comment to make on the matter until such time as a final report has been presented to me.
