Question 85: To ask the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if he has completed an inventory of art collections in the State's possession, in respect of those owned by the State and those on loan to the State; if so, if he will indicate their worth to the State; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Whilst my Department provides funding to the National Cultural Institutions, the Board of each Institution is responsible for all operational matters, including inventories, and I do not have a statutory function in respect of day-to-day operational matters.
