Question 163: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if he has, or intends to seek redress from the engineers or architects who certified the Priory Hall apartments on behalf the banks owned by the Minister and who subsequently gave mortgages to the residents. Redress along the lines proposed in the question is a matter for the parties, including Dublin City Council, their agents and insurers, to contracts relevant to the sale of the apartments at Priory Hall. Where disputes arise which cannot be resolved among the parties themselves, the contract terms may be enforced through the courts by way of civil action.
