6153The goals of the National Cancer Control Programme (NCCP) are to improve cancer prevention, detection and increase survival rates. These improvements are being achieved through the development of a comprehensive national service, based on evidence and best practice. The NCCP's National Medical Oncology Programme develops protocols and practices for drug usage.
The NCCP Technology Review Committee is constituted from across the spectrum of clinicians, with representatives with expertise in epidemiology, statistics, pharmacy and pharmoceconomics.
