Kilcummin Slipway is owned by Mayo County Council and responsibility for its repair and maintenance rests with the Local Authority in the first instance.

My Department has received an application from Mayo County Council for funding for a total of 26 projects. Kilcummin slipway has been identified as the fourth priority.

The Fishery Harbour & Coastal Infrastructure Development Programme for 2012 is currently under consideration and my Department will give full consideration to this request from Mayo County Council in the context of available Exchequer funding and overall national priorities.
