Discussions are on-going in relation to the restructuring of Permanent TSB and it would not be appropriate at this time to speculate as to what impact this may have on staff in the institution. However, as I have stated previously, the Deputy will appreciate that it is an inevitable, but unfortunate, consequence of the necessary restructuring of the banking system that job losses will arise.
