The Deputy is referring to the targeted Temporary, Partial Credit Guarantee Scheme which is currently being progressed as a matter of priority by my Department. An Invitation to Tender was published on Monday 5th December to select on Operator who will be contracted by my Department to act as its agent for the practical oversight, management and operation of the Scheme. The tendering process for the selection of an Operator is nearing completion. Primary legislation is required to make the necessary statutory provision for such a scheme. Formal drafting of the Bill is being progressed urgently with the office of Parliamentary Counsel. The Bill will be published within the Spring session.
