I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the yield from Tobacco Products Tax and estimated VAT on cigarettes for the years 2007 to 2011 is as follows:

It should be noted that the 2011 figure for Tobacco Products Tax is provisional at this time and is subject to change. Please note that the Value Added Tax receipts are estimated, as the VAT returns do not require the yield from a particular sector or sub-sector of trade to be identified. The rates of Tobacco Products Tax and VAT on cigarettes for the years 2007 to 2011 are set out below.
