Question 112: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade the assistance available to a person (details supplied) in accessing the reasons for the delay in finalising all matters pertaining to the estate of their late sibling in the US, with particular reference to the lack of a detailed account of moneys paid out to all parties concerned; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy will appreciate, the issue raised by the person mentioned by him is outside the remit of my Department. It is not appropriate for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to become involved in the private legal affairs of individuals. I suggest that this person use the services of a lawyer to deal with this matter on his behalf.
