Question 484: To ask the Minister for Justice and Equality if there are provisions in place, or likely to be introduced in the future, to allow for cross-county surveillance in respect of An Garda Síochána; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3397/12]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that, as An Garda Síochána is organised on a national basis, county boundaries do not impose restrictions on operational policing, including surveillance.
