Question 953: To ask the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 51 of 30 June 2011, the discussions he has had with the Health Service Executive in relation to the opening and staffing of the PET-CT scanner unit in Cork University Hospital; if he has received any indication from the HSE as to when the PET scanner will be operational; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Question 954: To ask the Minister for Health if he will quantify in terms of cancelled operations and other medical procedures for 2012 in Tallaght Hospital, Dublin, arising from recent closure of the Burkitt ward and the imminent closure of the Crampton ward totalling 75 beds or 12% of the hospital's capacity all due to hospital management coping with a reduced budget.
