Question 560: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government his view that he or any agency funded by him who own properties in office complexes in which a management company is in place, should take an active role in the running of such management companies including the appointment of a nominee to the board of the company in order to protect the investment of tax payers' money. The Office of Public Works is responsible for procuring accommodation for my Department, including policy in relation to the management of such property. The provision and management of accommodation for the agencies or bodies under the aegis of my Department is a matter for the bodies concerned.
