The Water Services Investment Programme 2010 – 2012 , a copy of which is available in the Oireachtas Library, provides for the development of a comprehensive range of new water services infrastructure in County Kerry. The Programme includes contracts under construction and to commence to the value of over €92 million in Kerry during the period of the Programme. The Castlemaine Sewerage Scheme is included as a scheme to advance through planning during the life of the Programme. The Preliminary Report for the scheme submitted by Kerry County Council is under examination in my Department and a decision will be conveyed to the Council as soon as possible.
