Question 502: To ask the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources his view that he or any agency funded by him who own properties in office complexes in which a management company is in place, should take an active role in the running of such management companies including the appointment of a nominee to the board of the company in order to protect the investment of taxpayers' money. The GPO complex, which is owned by the State, is vested in my Department which in turn has leased the complex to An Post. There are no other properties in office complexes owned by my Department. The running of the leased property is a matter for An Post and I have no function in this regard.
