The National Action Plan for Social Inclusion 2007-2016 (NAPinclusion) identifies a wide range of targeted actions and interventions to achieve the overall objective of reducing consistent poverty. My Department is currently preparing the third annual report on social inclusion which will outline progress in implementing the action plan over the two year period from January 2009 to December 2010.
The completion of the report is at an advanced stage and can now move to finalisation with the recent publication by the Central Statistics Office of the 2010 Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (SILC) survey. I expect that the report will be finalised early in 2012 and will be made publicly available as soon as possible after that.
