Question 461: To ask the Minister for Health if it is his aim to close or amalgamate services in County Meath for those who suffer from domestic violence; the services he will provide to support men who have suffered from domestic violence in County Meath and in the State as a whole; and if the plans to amalgamate Amen and the Women's Refuge will proceed. There is currently a review of Domestic and Sexual Violence service provision nationally being undertaken by the HSE which is looking at potential for efficiencies within domestic violence services. However as this review is not yet complete, no decisions have been made in relation to amalgamation of any service or a reduction in current front line service provision.
