Question 193: To ask the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation the funding from the State agencies paid to a company (details supplied) in the forms of grants, loans or any other mechanisms for each year since 2000; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [39868/11]

The company in question is a large processor of poultry that currently employs 650 people and works directly with 150 contracted farmers who rear chickens on their behalf. The company has a turnover of €168m of which €137m is spent in the Republic of Ireland (ROI) and it pays out €20m in wages and salaries per annum. The company supplies chicken products to the main supermarkets in the ROI and exports to the UK and France. Details of funding received by the company from Enterprise Ireland for the years 2000 to 2010 inclusive are set out in the table accompanying this reply. As the information in relation to the funding for 2011 is commercially sensitive, I am not in a position to release it at this point. The information will be available after the publication of Enterprise Ireland's Annual Report in 2012.
