My Department provides limited financial support to a small number of community and voluntary groups across the country. Details of funding provided by my Department to such groups in Galway under the Back to Education Initiative and through FÁS Local Training Initiatives are outlined in the following table. In addition to the grants indicated in the attached table, block grant funding is provided by my Department to Vocational Educational Committees for the Adult Literacy and Community Education Scheme.
